"For the last few years, watching MEDC beat its own standards every year has been an eye-opening experience, and it has always felt right for me to continue it’s legacy. This year as well, we strive to uphold that same standards by bringing debaters together to learn, grow, and feel the joy of debating and winning a competition.

We have always believed that the essence of debating is also to be able to think and make judgements sagaciously, and see far ahead beyond what others see, and debaters that can show a perfect example of that, are one deserving the title of Champion.
